HOW DOES HORTICURE WORK?

horticure was launched to simplify plant care. Individuals with deep knowledge about plants (aka, our Plant Specialists) can be booked to either come to the homes and offices of plant owners by appointment, or help plant owners via virtual appointments, to ensure the health, watering, light, temperature, soil, placement and pot-size of indoor plants are optimal. Via our site, you can select a service and book an appointment. Based on your location, and requested date and time of your appointment, we match you with the right Plant Specialist on our team. We require a minimum 72 hours between your booking request and our matching.

HOW FAST CAN A SPECIALIST COME TO MY HOME OR BUSINESS?

We require a minimum 72 hours between your booking request and our matching. We cannot accommodate “same day” booking requests. You can book up to 30 days in advance of the date you would like your horticure booking to occur.

WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES ARE OFFERED BY HORTICURE?

horticure offers a few different services for consumers and businesses:

  • At Home Plant Care: Book a Plant Specialist to come to your home to assist you with your plants. This service is currently available in Berlin, Paris, London, New York City and San Francisco.

  • At Home Plant Selection: Book a Plant Specialist to come to your home to help you make your plant shopping list, based on your space conditions, goals and budget. This service is currently available in Berlin, Paris, London, New York City and San Francisco.

  • Virtual Plant Care: Book a Plant Specialist to assist you with your plants via a Video Call. This service is currently available in Europe, North America and South America, and requires you have Internet connection and a smartphone.

  • Business Plant Care: Book a Plant Specialist to come to your business or office to assist you with your plants. This service is currently available in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London, New York City and San Francisco.

  • Business Plant Selection: Book a Plant Specialist to come to your business or office to help you make your plant shopping list, based on your space conditions, goals and budget. This service is currently available in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London, New York City and San Francisco.

HOW MANY HOURS SHOULD I BOOK FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

For At-Home Plant Care:

  • 1 hour: Less than 15 Plants

  • 2 hours: More than 15 Plants

For Virtual Plant Care:

  • 15 Minutes: Less than 5 Plants

  • 30 Minutes: 5 to 15 Plants

For Business Plant Care: Monthly Subscription Packages

  • 1x Week Specialist: Less than 100 Plants

  • 2x Week Specialist: More than 100 Plants

HOW DO I PICK A PLANT SPECIALIST?

We match you with the best Specialist available at the time specified. You are not able to select the exact Specialist that you’d like (yet).

CAN I RE-BOOK WITH THE SAME PLANT SPECIALIST?

Yes! After your first appointment with a Plant Specialist using horticure, you can request to re-book with that same Specialist for a future appointment.

CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT DIRECTLY WITH A SPECIALIST INSTEAD OF THROUGH HORTICURE?

horticure takes the stress out of finding a knowledgeable and friendly plant person by carefully vetting each Plant Specialist on our platform one by one. We’re able to continue providing our service by keeping our ecosystem intact, and we encourage our customers to use horticure exclusively for all of their plant care needs.

WHAT ARE THE BOOKING FEES WITH HORTICURE?

The prices you see is the full price you’ll pay for your appointment, with applicable VAT included. No additional fees apply.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY HORTICURE APPOINTMENT?

Please have your space clean and free of any hazardous materials. Please ensure the path to your indoor plants is clear, and if you have hanging plants, ensure you have the proper equipment (e.g. ladder) for your Plant Specialist to use to assess hanging or very tall plants. If you have any pets, please put them away before your appointment as some of our Specialists may be allergic or have phobias.

DO THE PLANT SPECIALISTS SPEAK MY LANGUAGE?

We have Plant Specialists currently serving customers in English, German and French. More language support will be coming soon.

WHAT IS THE EARLIEST OR LATEST APPOINTMENT I CAN BOOK IN A DAY?

We do not offer same day appointments at this time. Appointments can be requested a maximum of 30 days in advance or 3 days (72 hours) prior to the desired date.

BOOKING HOURS: The first available appointment hour is 9:00. The last available appointment hour is 20:00 for all plant care services, weekdays and weekends.

HOW LONG IS A HORTICURE APPOINTMENT?

For our at-home plant care service, you can book either 1 or 2 hours with a Plant Specialist. For our virtual, video call consultations, you can book either 15 or 30 minutes with a Plant Specialist.

WHAT IS HORTICURE’S CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand that sometimes plans change, and here at horticure we strive to keep flexible with you. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we ask that you contact us 12 hours before your appointment. You can either request to reschedule or cancel your appointment by emailing us at hello@horticure.com with either “Reschedule” or “Cancel” in the subject line. You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 12 hours before the selected time with no penalty.

  • If you reschedule with less than 12 hours notice, you will be charged 20% of your booking fee.

  • If you cancel with less than 12 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of your booking fee.

  • If your plant specialist is not available for your booking you will not be charged.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

We currently accept all major credit cards and payments via Paypal.

IN WHICH CITIES CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH HORTICURE?

Currently, horticure is available for at-home bookings in: Berlin, London, Paris, San Francisco and New York City.

Additionally, horticure is available for at-business bookings in: Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Paris, San Francisco and New York City.

horticure Virtual Plant Care bookings are available to customers anywhere in Europe, North America and South America.

WHERE IS HORTICURE BASED?

horticure’s founders are based in Berlin, Germany and horticure operates under the parent company Bright Leap Inc., a US-based Corporation.
